The Macomb High girls golf team finished seventh out of 14 teams in Friday’s Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raider Invitational held at the Quincy Country Club.
The Bombers posted a team score of 396. Taylor Mann and Reese Watson tied for 20th place out of 66 players, both recording scores of 92 on the 5,373 yard, par 73 layout.
Aubrey Holthaus shot a 101 to finish 34th, while Elise Sullivan carded a 111 to finish in a tie for 45th.
Host Quincy Notre Dame captured top team honors, finishing with a 319.
Normal University High was next at 324, followed by Father McGivney (333), Mahomet- Seymour (357), Monmouth United (372), Sacred Heart-Griffin (390) and Macomb.
Following the Bombers in the team standings were Illini West (409), Quincy Notre Dame “B” (417), Hannibal, Mo. (419), Quincy H.S. (430), West Hancock (452), Rushville-Industry (476) and Liberty (487).
Sarah Hyten of Father McGivney won medalist honors, posting a score of eight under par 65.
Normal U-High’s Audrey Hitt was runner- up with a 74.
The Bombers hosted the Prairieland Conference Tournament Monday at Gold Hills.
The team will then host Quincy Notre Dame and Mercer County on Wednesday before hosting its annual invitational event on Saturday.
