The Macomb High boys soccer squad dropped three road matches as well as one home match in recent play on the pitch.
On Sept. 2, the Bombers headed to Glasford to face Illini Bluffs with the host Tigers recording a 3-0 victory.
On Sept. 4, Macomb High hosted Galesburg with the visiting Silver Streaks scoring once in each half on the way to posting a 2-0 victory.
The Bombers returned to the road on Sept. 6, heading to Bartonville to face Limestone.
The host Rockets rocketed their way to a 9-0 victory. On Sept. 8, MHS headed to Ingersoll Middle School to face Canton High. The Little Giants led 1-0 at the half before adding a pair of second half goals in notching a 3-1 victory.
Macomb (1-6-0) heads to Hannibal, Mo. Friday and Saturday to play in the Pirate Shootout.
On Friday, the Bombers face Rolla, Mo. in a 5 p.m. match. Macomb High is slated to play twice on Saturday, facing Lutheran St. Charles at 9 a.m. and host Hannibal, Mo. at 2 p.m.
Next week, the Bombers will host Kewanee High on Sept. 16 and Monmouth-Roseville the following day.
