Macomb USO Club - 232 East Jackson St., Macomb

Doctor Joseph B. Bacon’s original Home became the Macomb USO club during the 1940s. Four floors with 8309 sq. ft. of floor space included a beautiful lounge and library, reading room, kitchen and snack bar. Showers, stag game rooms, craft room, club rooms, offices, recreation hall, a quiet and music room, voice recording room, powder room and a small auditorium were all featured in this “Soldier’s Home away from home”. The front brick facade still remains as part of today’s City Hall building.
