Hundreds of area residents and visitors flocked to Chandler Park on Saturday for the Gazebo Art Festival Macomb, celebrating the creativity of local artisans. Attendees explored a vibrant mix of paintings, ceramics, woodwork, jewelry, and ironwork, while enjoying live entertainment and Quesal’s Puppet Troupe.
The Best in Show Award went to artist, Mike Ericson. Ericson uses local and exotic woods and stone inlays to create wall art, cutting and charcuterie boards.
Carrie Depoy was awarded the coveted People's Choice award. A local favorite, Depoy specializes in memorable sketches of favorite places in Macomb, along with one-of-a-kind painted rocks.

The artist chosen to receive the City of Macomb Purchase Award was Whitney Fowler, pictured with Savannah Ballard, Macomb Downtown Development Director.
