Runners from West Prairie and Bushnell-Prairie City headed to Big Creek Park in Canton on Saturday to race in the Canton Little Giant Invitational.
Six runners from West Prairie and two from B-PC took part in the three-mile varsity boys race.
For West Prairie, Ezra Bithos led the way, finishing 14th overall with a time of 18 minutes, 33.20 seconds.
Ayden Lacey was 36th for the Cyclones (22:32.60), followed by Milo Rodeffer (38th, 22:34.90), Ian Fentem (40th, 23:09.00), Mason Sorrells (45th, 24:59.60) and Jacob Foust (50th, 29:20.30).
Sorrells and Foust are sophomores, while the other four runners for West Prairie are freshmen.
For B-PC, junior Logan Joiner was 46th (25:12.20), while senior Brett Havens was 51st (29:38.60).
Eric Pincock of Illini Bluffs topped the field of 52 runners, finishing with a time of 16:21.30. IB runners captured the top five spots.
For the girls, West Prairie freshman Brynlee Finch finished 18th out of 40 runners, posting a time of 24:24.00.
Illini Bluffs freshman Audrey Dickinson took top individual honors, finishing in a time of 18:53.30.
