The Macomb High cross country teams headed to Lake Storey on Saturday to run in the Silver Streak Invitational.
The boys had four runners participate in the varsity boys race.
Alex Simmons finished 24th, posting a time of 17 minutes, 3.14 seconds for the three-mile race.
Marc Simmons finished 44th (17:55.73), followed by Eymen Tasdan (80th, 19:11.10) and Cohen Hunt-Twomey (114th, 20:21.49).
Morton sophomore topped the field of 178 runners, posting a winning time of 15:50.69.
With just four runners, Macomb did not figure in the team scoring.
The Bombers also had four runners in the boys fresh-soph race.
Landon Richards topped MHS as he finished 14th with a time of 18:01.03.
Jackson Petitgout was 16th (18:07.97), followed by Xander Merritt (37th, 19:37.74) and Thomas Ashwood (60th, 20:49.13).
Peoria Notre Dame’s Luke Fady took top individual honors with a time of 16:11.12.
There were 118 runners in the boys fresh-soph race.
On the girls side, the Bombers placed eighth out of 13 teams, finishing with a score of 231 points.
Fort Madison, Iowa grabbed the team title with a low score of 84 points. Dunlap was second (92) and Morton third (99).
Individually for Macomb, Ella McKee finished 18th overall with a time of 20:32.81.
Allexis Gray was 33rd (21:35.14), followed by Ava Weaver (36th, 21:42.68), Laney Weaver (97th, 26:52.60) and Jackie Rouse (118th, 31:01.30). Fort Madison’s Avery Rump topped the field of 121 runners with a time of 18:44.62.
Macomb also had three runners in the fresh-soph girls race.
Khloe Diggs finished 21st with a time of 24:29.90. Sofia Cardenas-Roman was 23rd (24:35.47), while Leah Gorman was 32nd (26:01.75).
Geneseo’s Alivia Brown bested 56 other runners in recording a winning time of 20:46.96.
