2nd Annual Brendon & Sawyer Memorial Golf Outing Set for Sept. 13 at Twin Oaks
As part of Suicide Prevention Month this September, the 2nd Annual Brendon & Sawyer Memorial Golf Outing will take place Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Twin Oaks Golf Course in Blandinsville.
The golf tournament is officially full—thank you to everyone who registered! Even if you’re not golfing, we invite you to join us for lunch and live music by Lacy’s Ditch from 5 to 8 p.m.
Golfers should arrive by 8 a.m. for registration. Play begins at 9 a.m. The format is a four-person scramble. Registration includes golf, lunch, and a commemorative t-shirt. Breakfast biscuits and gravy will be available for $5 (two biscuits). Cart fees are separate at $10 per person.
The event will also feature betting holes, a 50/50 raffle, hole prizes, and a silent auction.
All proceeds benefit the McDonough County Humane Society and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
