The Macomb High girls golf team bested Illini West and host West Hancock in meet action Wednesday afternoon at Deer Run Golf Club.
The Bombers posted a team score of 190, followed by Illini West at 209 and West Hancock at 221.
Playing on the front 9, which is a 2,617 yard par 37 layout, Macomb’s Taylor Mann earned her second medalist honor of the season, posting a 43.
She finished play with a flourish, recording back-to-back birdies on the final two holes.
Brenlee Tibbitts finished one shot behind in carding a 44. Reese Watson (48) and Mullen Butcher (55) rounded out the top scores for MHS.
Elise Sullivan (56) and Aubrey Holthaus (57) also represented the Bombers with their scores not counting toward the team total.
Autumn Day topped Illini West with a 46, while Lucy Woodworth led West Hancock with a 51.
The Bombers improved to 5-1 in dual meet competition with the sweep.
Macomb returns to tournament action Saturday, playing in the Normal Community Invite at Ironwood Golf Course.
