The Macomb High boys soccer squad opened its season having won once in its opening four contests.
On Aug. 26, the Bombers headed to East Moline, dropping a 9-0 decision to host United Township.
On Aug. 29, MHS headed to the Quincy Invitational at John Wood Community College, facing Canton, Mo.
The Bombers found their way into the win column, notching a 4-2 victory.
The following day, the team wrapped up invitational play against Quincy High, losing to the Blue Devils 9-0.
On Tuesday, the Bombers headed to Glasford to face Illini Bluffs with the host Tigers clawing their way past the visitors 3-0.
The Bombers were slated to play their home opener Thursday, facing Galesburg.
The squad is set to head to Bartonville on Saturday to play Limestone before heading to Canton Monday for a match against the Little Giants.
