Macomb Mail Carriers of 1933
These Macomb mail carriers worked under the then retiring postmaster, Frank Harris, shown in center. Frank Harris was postmaster in Macomb from October 10th, 1929 through October 7th, 1933. William I. Knowles also shown in the picture had retired recently in 1933 and others would reach their thirty-year service limit soon.
The men are left to right: Frank Cale, John Kirkpatrick, Edward Simpson, Frank McGinnis, McKinley Boon, Frank Harris, Albert Nail, Joe Allison, Wm. I. Knowles, George Hall, and H.C. Roberts. The photo was taken by N.S. Godfrey Studio of Macomb.
