Sandra Sue Ham age 82 of Macomb, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb. Sandra was born June 5, 1943, in Astoria, Illinois, to Marion Jacob and Lucille Lefler Zimmerman. She was united in marriage July 4, 1962, to David Ham. He preceded her in death February 12, 2008. She is also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.
Surviving to mourn her passing is 1 son: Lee (Kathy) Ham, Lacona, Iowa, 2 daughters: Marian (David) Aanenson, Carthage, Patty (Wesley )Henness, Macomb, 5 grandchildren: David (Amber) Aanenson, Joseph (Jaclyn) Aanenson, Ronald (Brittany) Aanenson, Whitley (Tyler) Walters, Brandt (Kolby) Henness, Ethan Ham, 1 step grandson: Mitchel (Cyndi) Wedell, numerous great grandchildren, and 1 brother: Jerry (Michelle) Zimmerman, Macomb.
Sandra worked 25 years at WIU in the Food Service Department. She liked to garden and sew. She was a great cook, and when she had time she was an avid reader. Sandra loved her family more than anything.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M, Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Jones Funeral Chapel in Colchester. Burial will follow at the Industry cemetery in Industry. The family will meet with friends Wednesday before the service from 10 A.M to 11:00 A.M at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home from 8:30 A.M to 6:00 P.M, Tuesday. Memorial is to MDH Hospice.
