Operation Round-Up Grants Provide $12,600 in Local Support

McDonough Power Cooperative’s Operation Round-Up program continues to make a big impact across our communities. In the most recent round of funding, seven local organizations received grants totaling $12,600, bringing the total amount funded to date to an impressive $248,287.16.

The following projects were approved in this round: United Intermediate School – Health & Wellness: $600 Bushnell Prairie City CUSD #170 – B-PCE Community Build Playground: $3,000 Feed My Lambs Mission – Weekend Snack Packs: $2,500 Warren Achievement Center – Achiever Medical Fund: $2,000 McDonough District Hospital Foundation – Pediatric Crash Cart: $2,000 Buchanan Center for the Arts – Dia de Los Muertos: $500 Youth for Christ – Western Illinois – Transportation for Teens/Scholarships: $2,000 Operation Round-Up is powered by the generosity of McDonough Power members who voluntarily round up their monthly bills to the nearest dollar. Those pennies add up to create meaningful change in our communities.
