The Macomb High girls tennis team opened the home portion of its schedule Tuesday afternoon, dropping an 8-1 decision to visiting Moline at the Macomb High tennis courts.
The lone win for the Bombers came at No. 4 singles where Griffen Schauble defeated Chelsea Bitner, 6-1, 6-4.
Other singles were as follows: No. 1 - Calla Graham, Moline defeated Lucy Platt, Macomb, 6-1, 6-0.
No. 2 - Pearly Ciss, Moline defeated Sydney Hamm, Macomb, 6-2, 6-1.
No. 3 - Abby Greenlee, Moline defeated Darah McFadden, Macomb, 6-2, 6-4.
No. 5 - Palak Rawani, Moline defeated Isabella Gage, Macomb, 6-2, 6-1.
No. 6 - Emily VanVooren, Moline defeated Addison Bainter, Macomb, 6-1, 6-2.
Doubles results were as follows: No. 1 - Greenlee and Ciss, Moline defeated Platt and Hamm, Macomb, 6-1, 6-2.
No. 2 - Graham and Bitner, Moline defeated McFadden and Schauble, Macomb, 6-2, 6-1.
No. 3 - Rawani and Anjali Kumar, Moline defeated Bainter and Gage, Macomb, 6-2, 6-3.
Macomb now has a dual meet record of 2-1 on the season.
The Bombers returned to the road to play at Peoria Christian on Thursday.
On Sept. 2 the team returns home to face Quincy Notre Dame.
