The Colchester Labor Day Celebration will once again host the Gospel Jamboree on Sunday, August 31,2025, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the Main Stage at Colchester City Park, located on Route 136.
Organized by the local Lions Club, the weekend offers a parade, live music, craft vendors, and delicious food for all ages. The Gospel Jamboree takes place in a covered pavilion where attendees can sit on bleachers or bring their own lawn chairs.
Performers include Donnie Switzer from Plymouth and his daughter Kimberly Otey; Cindy McClintock from Macomb; Darlene Chockley from Rushville; Connie Corder from Colmar; and Jerry and Patsy Spratt from Augusta.
Special guest Joe Arview of Benton, a gifted singer, guitarist, and songwriter known for his down-to-earth country style, will also perform.
The event features a sing-along of hymns for everyone to enjoy. Admission is free. Bring the whole family and spend a blessed day in Colchester.
