Thursday, Aug. 21, 10:15am, Alignment Chair Yoga for Rising from the Floor to Standing. Practice technique will be done in chairs with a demonstration on how to apply in a real-life situation.
Tuesday, Aug. 26, Alignment Chair Yoga for an Overactive Mind.
Thursday, Aug. 28, Alignment Chair Yoga for Healthy Digestion.
Kathy’s Background
Kathy taught classes at Eau Claire, Wisconsin in yoga, fitness, wellness and senior centers from 2009 through 2022. She was a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance from 2009-2024 and a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists from 2012 through 2024. She earned her 200-hr and 500-hr yoga certifications at Alignment Yoga in Madison, Wisconsin.
She studied Adaptive Yoga at MindBody in Minneapolis, MN and taught for many years at Mayo Clinic's Aphasia Camp in New Auburn, Wisconsin. She taught prenatal yoga as well. She received meditation training in Red Wing Wisconsin from KYM in India and through Tergar's Joy of Living program.
