After years of community effort, the Reid Brewer Memorial Splash Park in Bushnell is set to open Saturday, Aug. 9 at 8 a.m.
This new, fully accessible splash park, located in Veterans Park next to the city swimming pool, honors the memory of Reid Brewer, a beloved local boy whose spirit inspired a $200,000 project to create a safe, fun space for children.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how the park came together and what it means for Bushnell’s families.
