Bryson Matthew Saddoris, 21, of Macomb, Illinois, passed away tragically on Monday, July 28, 2025, as a result of a homicide.
He was born May 20, 2004 in Galesburg, Illinois, to Matthew Alan Saddoris and Carrie Diane Simpson.
Bryson is survived by his father, Matthew (Deanne) Saddoris of Little York, IL; his mother, Carrie Yaste of Canton, IL; his paternal grandparents, Earl and Myrna Saddoris; maternal grandparents, Kelly Simpson and Cynthia (Hiro) Sato; paternal great-grandmother, Hazel Ziegenhorn; and maternal step great-grandmother, Teresa Faught. He is also survived by six siblings: Jacob Phillips, Cole Rockhold, Illiana Saddoris, Conner Corman, Oden Hill, and Aleecia Saddoris.
Bryson had a deep love for baseball and was a gifted lefthanded pitcher. He enjoyed skateboarding, fishing, cooking, and had a sharp mind for technology. Like many young people, he faced personal struggles and difficult choices. His life ended far too soon, a painful reminder of how deeply tragedy can touch our families and communities.
