Two Charged in Deadly Macomb Shooting, Victim Identified

Two Macomb men have been charged in the weekend murder of a man at a residence on North Randolph Street in Macomb. 

Sean Hayes, 37, Macomb, and Morgan Bearce, 24, Macomb, both face two counts of first degree murder in the shooting death of Bryson Saddoris, 21, Macomb.

According to a press release issued Tuesday by the Macomb Police Department, on July 27 at approximately 5:00 p.m., the Macomb Police Department was made aware of an alleged homicide which had occurred in the 600 block of North Randolph St. Upon an
investigation and a future search of the residence, the deceased body of Saddoris was located. 

Both suspects were located and detained by the Macomb Police Department on Sunday. 

On Tuesday, the McDonough County States Attorney’s Office formally charged Bearce with First Degree Murder and Obstructing Justice. 

Hayes was also charged with First Degree Murder and Obstructing Justice. Both subjects have been detained and are currently housed at the McDonough County Jail.
