Police and crime scene investigators were working a possible homicide Monday, Macomb Police Chief Jeff Hamer.
Police visited a home in the 600 block of North Randolph St. in Macomb after speaking with complainants about a possible homicide Sunday night, and discovered a deceased individual, according to Hamer.
McDonough County Coroner Eric Jameson said the possible victim is a male in his early 20s. He said an autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday.
Hamer said there was no threat the public.
Investigators were seen Monday morning extensively searching a vehicle parked in the back of the home at 625 N. Randolph St., surrounded by yellow police tape.
As of Monday morning at 10 a.m., police had not announced an arrest or any related charges.
