Allison Jacobs and James Bower have joined efforts and started a new business called Crystal Hippies. They are one of the newest additions to Macomb Farmer’s Market.
The name started as a joke, comparing their products to things a hippie might have worn in the 60’s.
The duo just finished their very first Farmer’s Market where their sales (exceeding their wildest dreams) were very good, selling out of some items.
Allison and James make suncatchers, bracelets, wraps, hair holders, wind chimes and necklaces out of crystals.
James will also make special order items, just tell him what you want.
Just getting started, their only other venues they may set up at are the Spoon River Drive and the Plymouth events. They also plan on being vendors at the Macomb Winter Farmer’s Market.
When asked what they like about Macomb Farmer’s Market, Allison and James agree that there is a great community spirit. They also enjoyed the music and visiting with other vendors.
The Crystal Hippies vendor can be reached by phone at 309-331-0006, on Facebook Marketplace under James Bower and by email at [email protected].
