Just as the Augusta Assembly of God Church is planning to host a Special Miracle Sunday event on July 27th, featuring Miracle Testimonies, Pastor Patsy Spratt experienced a miracle herself. This past Sunday, Spratt was leaving the church to pick up a few local members for church, with her key in hand and nearly to the car, out of nowhere, without a storm or wind, a large tree limb fell and crashed onto her car crushing the front and top of the vehicle. Damages made to the point that the car was considered totaled.
It may have been luck or coincidence in timing, but for the faithful, it was divine intervention, a miracle, that saved the Pastor from harm.
The Ausugust Church wishes to invite anyone who has ever witnessed a miracle, or those who find it hard to believe in miracles to the Sunday event at 2pm. The Church is located at 605 Railroad Street, Augusta, Illinois. Sunday morning service will begin at 10:00 a.m. and a Potluck Dinner will follow at 12:15, visitors do not have to bring food .Pastors Jerry and Patsy Spratt will extend a smile and a handshake.
