Patrick Heles nickname for many years was 'Paddy', hence the name of the newest Macomb Farmer's Market vendors-'Paddy's Patties'.
This new booth will surely make your mouth water as you pass by, as Paddy's Patty melts are made from 1/4 pound high quality beef, topped with Swiss or American cheese. Other topping choices include caramelized onions and/or house 1000 island dressing.
Bread choices are rye or sourdough.
Patrick works side by side with wife, Mercedes Ward, to grill up the most delicious sandwich in town.
Paddy is an experienced chef who has been employed in fine dining and as a private chef for over 20 years.
When asked what the duo like about Macomb Farmer's Market they state 'We love the community coming together to share in local products. It is a chance to meet and work with others.'
Patrick feels the Farmer's Markets serve to bring forward the often forgotten farmers who make it all happen.
