Memorial Medical Clinic Bowen is pleased to announce expanded clinic hours and the addition of two providers to better serve the healthcare needs of the community. Beginning immediately, the clinic will operate on the following expanded schedule:
• Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM “The extended hours are part of Memorial Medical Clinic’s ongoing commitment to making high-quality healthcare more accessible for working individuals and families,” said Tasha Koehler, Director of Clinic Operations. “By offering early morning and evening appointments, the clinic aims to reduce barriers to care and support healthier outcomes throughout the region.”
As part of this expansion, Memorial Medical Clinic Bowen is proud to welcome Shellie Wear, PMHNP-BC, FNP-PC, back to the community. Wear previously served patients in Bowen for many years and is well known for her compassionate approach and expertise in both behavioral health and primary care. The Bowen clinic is excited to welcome her back to the care team. Wear is now seeing patients in Bowen on Fridays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, providing mental health medication management and comprehensive primary care.
In addition, Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Alex Ourth, PA-C, to Memorial Medical Clinic in Bowen, where he will provide compassionate, family-focused primary care to patients of all ages. As a Hancock County native, Ourth was raised on a farm near Fountain Green, which brings with him a deep understanding of the healthcare needs of rural communities.
