Blueberry Acres
Jason and Steffany Pindell thoroughly enjoyed their first appearance at Macomb Farmer’s Market on July 5. In fact, they completely sold out of their freshly picked blueberries.
Blueberry Acres is a Dallas City, Illinois, U pick blueberry farm that recently joined the lineup at Macomb Farmer’s Market.
Pindells farm is located at 1115 E. 4th St., Dallas City, where it has a two acre blueberry patch producing eight different varieties.
The Pindell’s stated that the Macomb Farmer’s Market has a nice, organized setup and that they found the customers and other vendors quite nice.
Blueberry Acres is also a vendor at the Stronghurst Farmer’s Market, which is held every other Monday.
Since the blueberry season is quite short, namely June and July, the Pindell’s are not sure how many more Macomb Markets they’ll make this year. But they plan to be back next year, hopefully as a regular vendor.
